Replacement cartridge for the Jandy CS-200 - cross-referenced to Unicel C-8418, Pleatco PJANCS200 and Filbur FC-0823. It carries 200 sq ft of pleated polyester (Reemay-type spunbond) media in a 8-15/16 x 23-1/4 in frame, matching the OEM cartridge's filter area and footprint so the system runs at full flow. Priced at $17.99 versus $94.99 for the factory cartridge, with a typical service life of 12-24 months, or whenever the gauge reads 8-10 psi above clean. The spunbond media holds its pleat shape through repeated cleanings, so one cartridge can be washed and returned to service across the season. Between cycles, hose it off top to bottom at an angle - lift debris out of the pleats rather than driving it deeper - and degrease quarterly if sunscreen or scale builds up. Installation drops straight into the housing - no tools beyond the lid.
