Electrolux refrigerator filter questions, answered

In North America they are the same group and share the PureSource slot platform. EAF1CB is the Electrolux-boxed version of Frigidaire’s AFCB. The fit pages list both part numbers where a cartridge is cross-branded.

It depends on the model family — WF2CB and WFCB cover older PureSource 2/Plus slots, ULTRAWF the Ultra slot. This is exactly why we route by model number rather than guessing: the fit page names the one cartridge your unit takes.

On most units the rating plate is inside the refrigerator compartment — left wall near the crisper drawers, behind the lower kickplate, or on the door frame where the doors close against the cabinet. Use the full model string, not the serial number, when looking up filters.

Yes — if the cartridge in your Electrolux still has its part number printed on it (or the old one is in the cupboard), search that number directly. Fit pages list the OEM part number, its aliases, and the ClearFit cross-reference side by side.
